Classic World Gear Game

For mechanically-minded children, the Gears Game from Classic World will turn every cog in their brain!

This educational wooden toy features colourful wheel gears of different sizes that can be placed into the perforated wooden board. Experiment with fitting the wheel gears many different ways to see if you can make all the wheels spin at once!

Junior players can start by completing the designs on the picture cards provided. Simple objects and animals are depicted – a tractor, flowers, a butterfly, an owl, and a caterpillar – each one incorporating several wheel gears. To begin, place one picture card on the wooden board's surface; then identify which wheel gears are pictured and find them in the set; then place each wheel gear on the board, one at a time (holes in the cards allow for the gears to connect through to the board beneath); then turn the knob and see the picture come to life!

By encouraging self-initiated exploration within a beginner-level engineering challenge, this toy helps to develop a child's critical thinking skills, observation abilities, problem-solving skills, and fine motor skills.
