Choo choo! All aboard the Hape Intercity Battery Powered Locomotive – it’s time to get this train moving on down the tracks.
This set contains four intercity battery-powered locomotives in different colors (black, red, pink and blue), which is a great way for kids to begin their first railway journey. Powered by two AAA batteries inside, this locomotive can be controlled by switching between forward and reverse gear on the top of the engine. There is also a magnetic joint on the rear of the engine to attach other carriages to pull along. The base is made of zinc alloy, contributing to its stability. A protective, clutching gear linkage protects the engine if kids try to push it along the floor. It is great for encouraging imagination, role play and developing fine motor skills as well as focus.
